Last Chance to Impress

If you think you are good enough...if you think you are too good to be left out..or if you are not sure if you will make the team..come down and give it your best and try to impress the coach...Always remember "it ain't over till the fat lady sings"

Guy's Training
Date: 5 Nov 08 (Wed)
Time: 8-10pm (Be changed by 745 for warmup)
Venue: Valhall

* New guys can come down at 730 for extra stickwork practice..Plus Remember to Bring $20 for the courts fees..

Goals and Vision

* Commitment

- Attendance at training (easy as that, no need to explain much)

* Respect

- listen when someone is talking (basic courtesy, won't you want others to listen to you too?)

* Discipline
- do what you are supposed to do (use some initiative!)

- do your own self-training (training doesn't stop out of court, train your fitness and skill at your own time too! strive for continuous improvement if you wanna get better!)

* Punctuality
- show your sense of urgency (don't look sloppy!)

* Integrity
- don't lie to the team, don't lie to yourself. (honesty, the best policy)

* Attitude
- take trainings seriously (if you are not putting in effort, why do it?)
- be positive (training takes time! press on!)

- be enthusiastic (get excited! let your creativity flow!)

- be a team player (like DUH! its a TEAM sport!)

Ultimately, anyone who is not interested in the team or dislikes any of the practices may choose to leave the team.

For Guys' Training
- NO slippers
- NO ankle socks

- Always bring WHITE/BLACK top
