Republic Polytechnic, Monday, January 25, 2010 – The Singapore Institute of Management (SIM) beat the Temasek Polytechnic (TP) 1-0 in the playoff for third place in the Institute-Varsity-Polytechnic (IVP) Floorball Championship.

The match was a close affair with neither team breaking the deadlock until Lee Hui Yi (SIM #6) capitalized on a goalkeeping error by Madura McCormack (TP GK #2) to tap one in from close range.

TP were in fact the ones who scored first, but the shot was ruled out due to a foul committed in the goal area.
